Purpose:
Basic Obedience class is intended for any dog over
the age of six months. The purpose of the class is to
introduce the handler to the basics of obedience
training using positive training techniques.
Content:
Basic Obedience class focuses on teaching you to
train your dog using positive incentives and reward
based methods. Participants will be taught how to teach
their dog to sit, lie down, heel, stay, come,
stand and sit for exam. In
addition, common behavioral problems such as
jumping up, play biting, chewing, crate training
and other issues will be addressed as needed.

None
Length of Class:
Basic Obedience meets once a week for an hour for
eight weeks.
